Tokyo SKYTREE®

Tokyo SKYTREE®: Inaugurated on May 22, 2012 as the tallest radio tower in the world. It has become one of Japan’s top tourist spots that has attracted thousands of visitors since it opened.
Although it is home to commercial businesses, it is primarily a radio tower that plays an important role in the broadcasting industry. Therefore, irrespective of the type of disaster, structural safety is secured.

Tokyo SKYTREE®

About 1500 fire extinguishers were installed. In addition to fire extinguishers, portable dry chemical fire-fighting equipment, foam fire extinguishing equipment, and water discharging sprinklers were also introduced.
When it was opened, Tokyo SKYTREE was hailed as a symbol of the revival from the Great East Japan Earthquake, and its safety features attracted the attention of fire departments.
