100% (mass ratio) recycling system | Action for Environment

Taking responsibility as the top manufacturer of portable fire extinguishers, Yamato Protec established the “Recycle Center” within its Osaka factory in February of this year. To prevent possible explosions in old fire extinguishers and to contribute to the creation of a recycling society, we have been actively working on voluntary collection and disposal of fire extinguishers.
Recently, recycled material for a dry chemical (ABC) extinguishing agent has been approved, and the Ministry of the Environment has set a course to amend the Waste Management Law. Now, a recycling system for disused fire extinguishers is approaching completion.
